Suzanne Morphet writes mostly about outdoor adventures, from hiking in winter in the Swiss Alps to canyoning on rivers in Mexico. But she finds the people and wildlife she meets along the way to be as interesting as the activities themselves. Suzanne has been a journalist almost her entire career, first as a reporter with CBC Radio News covering Canada’s Arctic, and more recently as a freelance travel writer and photographer. She credits her genetic hearing loss for her transition from hard news reporter to travel writer.
