The Fredericton Capital Region is a destination where the more you look, the more you find. We’re a place where harmonious contrasts entwine. A place where you can fish in the morning and, attend an exhibition opening at night. Built on heritage, our region was home to the Wolastoqiyik for thousands of years, followed by Acadian and Loyalist settlement. At the heart of the region lies the Wolastoq (St. John River) and its natural setting offers a playground for all to explore. The river weaves through the city and connects communities, complemented by the city’s 120km+ trail network.
