About the TMAC Awards

Annually, the Travel Media Association of Canada honours the best of Canada’s travel media, with more than $16,000 in prizing at the TMAC Travel Media Awards.

Although the Awards are presented at the annual TMAC Conference, during the Awards Gala, it is important to note that works submitted by members are from the previous year. 

There are three components to the TMAC National Awards:

  • TMAC NATIONAL AWARDS are 13 categories judged by a panel of independent judges.
  • MEMBERSHIP AWARDS are 4 categories that are open to both media and industry members and are voted on by members.
  • CHAPTER AWARDS are categories sponsored by a regional chapter that are open to all media members (includes past host). TMAC collects these submissions, but transfers the submissions to the chapter for their own review, decision process and prizing.

For 2025, submissions for the 2024 awards will be welcomed via the TMAC Award Submission Form here on our website as follows:

NOTE: Unless otherwise indicated, work submitted must have been published in 2024 to be eligible.

TMAC National Awards (Subject to Change):
OPENS: Mid-January 2025
CLOSED: 11:59PM Eastern, February 20, 2025

TMAC Membership Awards & Chapter Awards (Subject to Change):
OPENS: March 4, 2025
CLOSES: April 8, 2025

We invite you to share your best work from 2024. Submissions will be reviewed by our panel of judges and the winners will share in more than $16,000 in prizing (and bragging rights).
