ILULISSAT, GREENLAND – BIRTHPLACE OF ICEBERGS

Illulissat glacier riot

Just outside the town of Ilulisat, Greenland is a 40-km long icefjord that sits at the mouth of one of the most active glaciers in the world. The Sermeq Kujalleq glacier calves more than 35 square km of ice annually. To put it simply, this is iceberg heaven.
