June 10, 2025 (Saskatoon, SK) – The 2025 Conference of the Travel Media Association of Canada (TMAC), held in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan from June 4th to 8th, 2025, drew national attention and welcomed over 180 delegates from across Canada and beyond. The event culminated in an Awards Gala celebrating the top travel stories, travel resources, photography and multi media from 2024, as judged and authored by accredited travel media professionals. The Gala also honored the outstanding contributions of destination industry members and recognized the dedication of volunteer leaders who help guide the association.

The annual TMAC conference is held in host locations across Canada and occasionally in international destinations. This year, the opportunity to visit the unique sites in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan meant that hundreds of members registered on the first day of opening.
“Saskatoon set the bar for what a Conference should contain, from fantastic cuisine to unique pre- and post-tour experiences,” said TMAC President and Executive Vice President, Managing Director of LMA Jerry Grymek. “Congratulations to our Conference Committee volunteers, led by chair Katie Conklin of Discover Halifax and co-chair Tania Kedikian of DCI, for going above and beyond to entertain our members.
