Hello, fellow TMACers:

Nominations have closed for our elections to our National Board for the 2025/2026 term. There are eight candidates for six open positions on the board, so we will be in election mode, next week!

As well, I am delighted to report that Katie Conklin has been acclaimed Vice President for the coming term. As you know, that also means Katie will succeed incoming President Jerry Grymek as President in the following term. Congratulations, Jerry and Katie!

Four members of the current board will complete their terms as of the end of conference, this year: Yashy Murphy, Tracy Ford, Rod Charles and myself. Thanks to Yashy, Tracy and Rod for their service to, and commitment to, the TMAC family. And personally, it is a great privilege to serve as your President.

Five members of the current board will continue to serve: Jerry and Katie, in their new roles, and Wendy Nordvik-Carr, Andrew Hiscock and Lola Augustine Brown, all of whom have another year in their two-year terms as directors.

There are eight candidates for election to the six open positions on the board. They are, in alphabetical order:

TMAC members will have the opportunity to meet these candidates during a Meet the Candidates Zoom session on Monday, April 7, from 1-3 p.m. EDT. Please pre-register and join us. As well, we will be providing biographical materials on all candidates.

Following that session, you will receive information concerning on-line voting, which will be open from Tuesday April 8, 12 noon EDT to Wednesday April 16, 5 p.m. EDT. All members in good standing will be able to vote for up to six candidates.
