Sandra MacGregor has been writing about travel, food, wine and more for nearly a decade. She is also a former magazine editor and an internationally-published writer, whose work has appeared in a variety of publications, including the New York Times, National Geographic Travel, CNN Travel, AFAR, the UK Telegraph, the Washington Post, Ensemble Vacations Magazine, Forbes.com and the Toronto Star. She is also a regular contributing writer for Forbes.com Travel.

She spends much of her time travelling and some of her most recent trips took her to the Caribbean, Africa, Paris, Spain and all over Canada and the United States. Though her base is in Guelph, Ontario, her wanderlust has led her to pack up and go live for a year or two around the globe, including in Quebec City; Paris, France; Seoul, South Korea; and (most recently for two years) in Cape Town, South Africa.
