Kevin Wagar is an award-winning travel writer and photographer. Kevin runs Wagar Media Group which includes publications such as Wandering Wagars – Adventure Family Travel and Flavor the Globe and is a co-founder of both UItimate Ontario and We Explore Canada.

Kevin has won eight TMAC awards since 2020 in categories ranging from Best Blog (Wandering Wagars) to features on family travel as well as for his photography in both Landscape and Essence of Place categories.

Kevin has developed a reputation as a world expert in adventurous family travel and can often be found traveling to far-flung destinations in the company of his wife Christina and their two sons Cohen and Dylan.

His freelance work and photography have been featured in media outlets such as CBC, The Lonely Planet, Canadian Traveller, and Explore Magazine. He prides himself on creating fun, engaging, and informative content to help inspire people to experience new destinations or take a deeper look at the places that they already know.

Kevin is also one of the founders of The Blogger Collective and the Toronto Blogger Collective, a community focused on educating and training upcoming and established content creators. The Blogger Collective has built a reputation as a powerful voice for tourism and brand experiences. It runs events that connect destination marketing organizations with relevant independent media in Ontario.
