I am a longtime member of both TMAC and the SATW. My forte is anticipating trends before they occur. For example, I was reporting on the Canadian Arctic long before it became 'hot', and on the Quebec-based Finnish Sauna phenomena, long before it became 'cool'.
It would be foolish to say I am a trend setter. In fact, no one who knows me would make that claim. I can, however, make an old standard (destination) seem refreshed. Needless to say, I am very interested in discovering, uncovering and then covering new places.
