Presenters’ Bios

Christopher Mitchell is a travel writer, photographer and podcaster hailing from Toronto. He launched his first site, www.travelingmitch.com, about ten years ago. He used it to document his travels through 80 countries, as well as lengthy stints living abroad in Oslo, Seoul, Istanbul and other places around the globe. 

He also co-founded the website “Ultimate Ontario” with Kevin Wagar, and is a co-founder of the Toronto Bloggers Collective, a community looking to help content creators turn passion to profession. Additionally, he runs the podcast Rick Steves Over Brunch, which playfully reviews episodes of Rick Steves’ Europe, and is the author of A Local Travel Writer’s Guide to Toronto.

Kevin Wagar is an avid traveler, writer, and photographer. His primary website, WanderingWagars.com sees over 100,000 visitors per month. Kevin has used this platform to help other adventurous parents learn that there is much more to traveling with kids than just Disney and all inclusive resorts.

Kevin has helped to launch the website Ultimate Ontario, an online outlet featuring the incredible destinations and attractions of his home province. He also is one of the founding members and administrators of the Toronto Bloggers Collective. The TBC has a goal of raising the media standard of independent digital media members.”
