Jantine Van Kregten has served as the Director of Communications for Ottawa Tourism since November 2003. Under more typical circumstances, she is responsible for pitching story ideas to and organizing visits by travel media from around the world, showing off the assets of Canada’s capital region. With a love for local craft beer, arcane trivia, quirky festivals, interactive museums, and outdoor activities during all four seasons, Jantine is never happier than when a journalist cocks an eyebrow and says, “Tell me more!” Jantine fell in love with Ottawa while earning a political science degree at the University of Ottawa and is proud to call the city her home.

Tania Kedikian  advocates for the travel industry as an integral sharing of experiences that offers people to be seen and celebrated by the global community. She has four years of tourism marketing experience and an 11-year career in communications. As a travel marketer at DCI, Tania handles Canada media relations and travel trade programs for international destinations. She brings her experience in radio broadcasting and non-profit public relations to the DCI team. From promotions and events with Bell Media to international film organization TIFF, Tania’s experiences have deepened her understanding of communication strategies and how to target the right audience for a brand.
