A Fall Walk In The Woods – Pocaterra Cirque and/or Ptarmigan Cirque

TMAC Prairies & NWT Chapter ARE going places!

Autumn is the Perfect Time for a Walk in the Woods!
Of course, a fall hike in the Rockies is made doubly special by the shifting colours of Larch trees— precisely why we’ve chosen Pocaterra Cirque and/or Ptarmigan Cirque.

Please join us for a short but stunning hike at the top of Highwood Pass — the highest paved pass in Canada. Both of these Kananaskis hikes leave from the same parking lot which means that members can decide that very day which hike to take.

When: Thursday Sept. 30 at high noon in the parking lot.

Where: The parking lot at the top of Highwood Pass.

What to bring

  • Good hiking boots or sturdy walking shoes.
  • Walking sticks/poles if you like.
  • Backpack, water bottle & lunch.
  • Layers of hiking gear as it can get cool and/or rain.
  • A warm and waterproof shell is a good idea.
  • Lunch.
  • Your phone/camera!

Cost: Free for TMAC members in good standing.

RSVP:  Before Friday, Sept 24 email to prwizard@telus.net
