Toronto, ON, November 5, 2015:  Northeastern Ontario Tourism has recently launched it's BIG blog and is looking for authors to write articles about tourism experiences in this region. Stretching from Manitoulin Island and the French River in the west, to Mattawa and the northern reaches of Algonquin in the east - from North Bay and Sudbury in the South, to Cochrane, Timmins, Kapuskasing and Moosonee in the North, this is one BIG region.

Home to the Polar Bear Habitat, Science North, and Dynamic Earth and BIG events like the Northern Lights Festival, the Bikers Reunion and CineFest Sudbury, this is a region known for it's remote beauty - for incredible fishing and hunting, outdoor adventures and incredible winter activities. Ice fishing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling all take centre stage here in winter, while in spring, summer and fall you can find tourists flocking to our lodges to indulge in hiking, bicycling and paddling. Motorcycle riders love our quiet, twisty backroads and anglers love our fishing holes, diversity of species and remote lakes.

If you've ever been to Northeastern Ontario, you already know what we're talking about - and we want you to help us tell the rest of the world about how great it is here. We're looking for talented authors to write about their previous experiences in the North. We're looking for stories around 600 to 800 words in length with photos (don't worry - we're only using them in your blog post.) We generally pay $200-$300 per story.

If you've got a story to tell about a trip to Northeastern Ontario, e-mail mike@thenewbusiness.ca and let us know!
