Foodie writer & editor; cookbook author; radio & TV personality and social media food maven

Julie Van Rosendaal is a Calgary-based food writer and TV/radio personality. She's one busy ‘foodie’!

Julie is the author of seven best-selling cookbooks, the food & nutrition columnist on the Calgary Eyeopener on CBC Radio One, and a columnist for CBC Calgary online.

As well, she's the food editor of Parents Canada magazine, contributing food editor for Western Living magazine, and a columnist for Swerve, Avenue Magazine, City Palate and other regional publications.

So it should come as no surprise that she has 15,000 Twitter followers and 7,500+ Facebook likes. Meanwhile at dinnerwithjulie.com,she attracts approximately 10,000 readers daily!

Julie is a regular food commentator on local TV stations across Canada. She also co-edits Rolling Spoon, a website devoted to music and food, where musicians are profiled with a focus on what they eat – both at home and on the road.

She cooks, talks, and eats for print, TV, film and other media, shares her experiences through social media channels and writes about her travels through many outlets, including her award-winning food blog, Dinner with Julie.

Julie was also a co-host (along with Chef Ned Bell of the Four Seasons in Vancouver) of TV's It’s Just Food.
